About

Hi, I am Brad Fish, a Pittsburgh, PA library lover. I currently work in the education field. I work with school and public libraries helping them to create great libraries. I believe that great libraries can be thought of as the “information and community hub” that connects people to information and learning as well as people to people. I believe that libraries need to become the social “center” of their community. I also believe that school and public libraries should be interlinked so as to provide seamless integration of knowledge, content and technology tools that support our children so they can compete successfully in this interconnected, international world of the 21st century.

I am a father of two grown children and two younger children just entering the elementary school world. I believe that libraries help hold the key to the exciting, interconnected world of the 21st century that they will spend their lives in. I have spent my professional career helping retail, book and education teams to be “great”!

    Brad,

Can you mail me a copy of Scholastic’s report on reading?
